I recently used Fedora9, but if there is no music, it will be no pleasure to study, surf the Internet, or develop it! However, Fedora9 does not contain the most popular music media formats, such as mp3 and rm. Due to copyright issues, the corresponding decoder is not included by default. After reading the MPlayer Codecs, it has not been updated for a long time. I wanted to use Kaffeine, but after installing win32codecs for half a day

I originally wanted to use Kaffeine, but after installing win32codecs for half a day, I found that cook. so still needs libstdc ++ 5. My libstdc ++ 6 is depressing. After the next 5 hours, I still had a bad time.
There is another RealPlayer 11, but the interface is very simple and often crash. So I tried to use RealPlayer11 to decode the core and use Amarok to play music. After simple settings, Amarok can support mp3, rm,... format. Haha
The following is a simple process.
1. Install realyPleayer 11.
Can download the official free version here: http://www.real.com/realcom/R? Hr... ealPlayer11GOLD. rpm
2. The installation process is relatively simple. After installation, the directory structure is as follows:
[Lin @ fedora9 opt] $ tree-L 3
.
'-- Real
'-- RealPlayer
| -- LICENSE
| -- README
| -- Codecs
| -- Common
| -- Doc
| -- Install. log
| -- Mozilla
| -- Plugins
| -- Postinst
| -- Realplay
| -- Realplay. bin
'-- Share
Several directories are our important objects.
9 directories, 5 files
[Lin @ fedora9 opt] $
3. Modify the Amarok settings.
Choose [settings] --> [Configure Amarok] And then select Engine modification in the pop-up dialog box.
Now you can use Amarok to easily listen to music.
