Install LAMP with Ubuntu Source

I have previously written a document for compiling and installing LAMP, put it in my GoogleCode texsky project (for more information about texsky, see the previous article [another project -- texsky]). Some time ago, I thought it would be better to use the source code, after all, updates are more convenient. use the source is simple, just remember the package name on the line, the following package name in Ubuntu9.04 test passed: $ sudoapt-getinstallapache2.2-co

I have previously written a document for compiling and installing LAMP, put it in my Google Code texsky project (for details about texsky, refer to the previous article [another project -- texsky]), some time ago, I thought it would be better to use the source code. After all, it would be more convenient to update the source code.

It's easy to use the source. Just remember the package name. The following package names are tested in Ubuntu 9.04:

$ Sudo apt-get install apache2.2-common mysql-server php5 php5-cgi php5-cli php5-mysql really suspect that it is not worth tossing the compilation value for a little scalability and performance improvement...

If FastCGI support is required, add two software packages:

$ Sudo apt-get install libapache2-mod-fastcgi libfcgi-dev By the way libfcgi-dev this package, at first thought this package is only needed for compilation, because its description is: header files of FastCGI, so I thought it was only the Header file. as a result, an error occurred when the package was not installed. After a research, I found that the package also contains some so files (which is very sinister), which are naturally needed during running, after the installation, everything runs normally.

Another project -- texsky
Today, I created a project for myself on Google Code: texsky, which is used to store my personal LaTeX documents and source files. as the first document to be uploaded, I wrote a small manual about LAMP installation and configuration a few days ago. I thought it was a meticulous one, not a Blog style, it is estimated that the LAMP compiled by myself can be used as long as it is not illiterate and a little RP is added. (Of course, L and XD are not included ).
