The installation is similar to that of Ubuntu. After all, it is derived from a single version. However, after Xubuntu is installed, it does not mount hard disks under windows. I have been using the fat32 file system, if one day I access a Linux File on Windows, it is definitely not possible, so I dare not return the ext3. I read the mount command on the Internet, but it is not difficult. I have learned it before. Later I thought that all Linux versions are automatically mounted, so I did not go into it. An error is found!
In the media folder (in fact, you only need to create a folder, but you must have the permission)
Mkdir/mnt/disk1
Mkdir/media/disk2
Mount:
Sudo mount/dev/sda5/mnt/disk1-t vfat-o iocharset = utf8, umask = 000
You must add TUF8. Otherwise, garbled characters may appear!
In this way, our hard disk will be mounted, but it will be difficult to mount it every time. Is there a way to mount it to us after it is started every time? The answer is yes of course. You can see that there is no way to do it in linux. Even IE can run in linux!
Create a folder in/mnt. For example, c Represents the c drive of windows.
$ Sudo vim/etc/fstab
Modify or add a statement similar to the following:
/Dev/sda5/mnt/disk1 vfat rw, auto, umask = 000, iocharset = utf8 0 0
/Dev/sda6/mnt/disk2 vfat rw, auto, umask = 000, iocharset = utf8 0 0
