I. preparations:
1. Format a 4G or above USB flash drive to FAT32
2. image editing software: UltraISO v9.3.6.2750
3. Linux image files
II. create a boot disk:
1. install UltraISO,
2. open the linux5.4 image file after the software is started (you can click the ISO file after association ).
3. click "tool-load to virtual optical drive" and click "load"
4. open "My Computer" and find the drive letter (for example, drive F) of the virtual optical drive, and enter: "F: \ images ",
5. find the "boot. ISO" file. Double-click to open.
6. click "Start-write hard disk image"
7, choose your U disk, write mode: USB-HDD +. click "write", start writing boot files to the U disk,
8. wait about one minute. the Message bar prompts "burning successful ". The boot file has been written.
9. check whether the data is written successfully and whether the drive letter is correct. open "My Computer" and the drive letter named "Red Hat Ent" appears in the removable storage column, which indicates that the data is written successfully.
3. copy the linux image file to the USB flash drive:
Copy the linux image file to the root directory of the USB flash drive.
Note: Special characters and Chinese characters are not allowed in Linux image files.
The work on the USB flash disk is basically completed here. Next, we will start to install linux.
4. select a USB flash drive as the boot disk:
1. Insert the USB flash drive to the device where linux is to be installed (it is recommended that you do not insert it to the front UBS interface, and the reading speed may be slow ).
2. press F6 at startup (the buttons for different devices are different. for details, refer to the instruction manual) to go to the boot item selection page, select USB flash drive to start, or enter BIOS (see the instruction manual for keys), and set the USB flash drive to the first boot.
3. if you select the correct option, the initial installation page of linux will be displayed.
5. install linux:
1. on the initial installation page, press enter, select the language and keyboard, and press enter.
2. select Hard drive and press enter when selecting the system source.
3. find your USB flash drive and try it one by one. After selecting a drive letter, do not press enter directly, press Tab to shift to the OK position, and then press Enter to confirm.
3. find the USB flash drive, shift the Tab to the OK position, and press enter to start the installation interface.
