The CentOS7 Yum source does not seem to have MySQL by default. To solve this problem, we need to download the MySQL repo source first.
1. Download the MySQL repo source
$ wget http://repo.mysql.com/mysql-community-release-el7-5.noarch.rpm
2. Install the MYSQL-COMMUNITY-RELEASE-EL7-5.NOARCH.RPM package
$ sudo rpm-ivh mysql-community-release-el7-5.noarch.rpm
After installing this package, you will get two MySQL yum repo Source:/etc/yum.repos.d/mysql-community.repo,/etc/yum.repos.d/mysql-community-source.repo.
3. Install MySQL
$ sudo yum install Mysql-server
Follow the steps to install it, but after the installation is complete, there is no password and you need to reset the password.
4. Reset Password
Before resetting your password, you must first log in
$ mysql-u Root
This error may be reported at login: Error 2002 (HY000): Can ' t connect to local MySQL server through socket '/var/lib/mysql/mysql.sock ' (2) because/var /lib/mysql access rights issues. The following command changes the owner of the/var/lib/mysql to the current user:
$ sudo chown-r root:root/var/lib/mysql
Then, restart the service:
$ Service Mysqld Restart
Next login to reset Password:
$ mysql-u rootmysql > Use mysql;mysql > Update user set Password=password (' 123456 ') where user= ' root '; MySQL > ex It
5. Open 3306 Ports
$ sudo vim/etc/sysconfig/iptables
Add the following content:
-A input-p tcp-m state--state new-m TCP--dport 3306-j ACCEPT
Restart the firewall after saving:
$ sudo service iptables restart
6. Create a regular user and authorize
Example (log in with root):
mysql > Use MySQL;
MySQL > Grant all privileges on * * to ' root ' @ '% ' identified by ' 123456 ';
MySQL > Flushn privileges;
Now you can connect to the MySQL server from the client, if the connection reported this error:error 2003 (HY000): Can ' t connect to MySQL server on ' 192.168.x.xxx ' (113). Because we are CENTOS7, please first confirm whether the firewall is on, centos7 default is firewall,
We can stop it and use it, and then start the familiar iptables, so that's good!
Note: MySQL clients are required to install MySQL client.
1. Close the firewall directly
Systemctl Stop Firewalld.service #停止firewall
Systemctl Disable Firewalld.service #禁止firewall开机启动
2. Set up Iptables service
Yum-y Install Iptables-services
If you want to modify the firewall configuration, such as increasing firewall port 3306
Vi/etc/sysconfig/iptables
Add rule
-A input-m state--state new-m tcp-p TCP--dport 3306-j ACCEPT
After saving exits
Systemctl Restart Iptables.service #重启防火墙使配置生效
Systemctl Enable Iptables.service #设置防火墙开机启动
The final reboot system makes the settings effective.
