MySQL-test-community-5.0.41-0.rhel4.i386.rpm
Use SSH to put files in the same directory
/Home/linuxtools/(customized directory)
2. Install
Enter the Directory
# Cd/home/linuxtools
Create a. sh file
# Vi mysql5.0 _ setup. sh
Edit mode: edit content
Rpm-ivh -- nodeps MySQL-server-community-5.0.41-0.rhel4.i386.rpm
Rpm-ivh -- nodeps MySQL-client-community-5.0.41-0.rhel4.i386.rpm
Rpm-ivh -- nodeps MySQL-devel-community-5.0.41-0.rhel4.i386.rpm
Rpm-ivh -- nodeps MySQL-shared-community-5.0.41-0.rhel4.i386.rpm
Save and exit
Run mysql5.0 _ setup. sh
#./Mysql5.0 _ setup. sh
3. installation successful
Test
# Mysql-uroot
Successful! You can create a new user and change the root password.
