Install Nessus In Debian

Install Nessus-Linux Release Technology-Debian under Debian. For more information, see below. Not long ago, I went to a company for an interview and met many linux questions. Most of them won't do it. After I came back, I installed Debian with a virtual machine. Now I have installed Nessus in this system.

Go to the official website of Nessus.

Install Nessus:

Dpkg-I Nessus-3.2.0-debian3_i386.deb

Register Nessus (check the registration code in the e-mail address entered during download ):

/Opt/nessus/bin/nessus-fetch -- register 82D9-92C6-95C3-BAF1-4A4A

Set auto_update to yes in nessusd. conf.

Create a Nessus user

/Opt/nessus/sbin/nessus-adduser

Start the Nessus Service

/Opt/nessus/sbin/nessusd-D

Complete. You can use NessusClient in Windows to connect to the Nessus server.
