I have been installing Ubuntu9.04 for a while, and I have used the built-in driver of Ubuntu9.04. Although there is no major problem, there is a landscape during the boot and shutdown processes. It is very serious that the screen is shut down. So I tried to dress the latest NVIDIA driver, the problem solved, and the dream of the 3D desktop can also be opened. This article takes my machine NVIDIA8400gs graphics card of the latest driver NVIDIA-Linux-x86-185.18.14-pkg1.run as an example. First, go to the NVIDIA website
