Install Ubuntu in Winpe

We know that Ubuntu can be installed in Windows. After installation, there will be two options at startup, one is Windows, and the other is Ubuntu, which is a dual system, or the latter is parasitic in the former.

However, if you do not want Ubuntu to be installed separately or in Windows, you can install it in winpe, the advantage of installing it is that the disk does not require linux partitions and formats, and can be backed up in ghost. The backup is much smaller than that in Windows. this method can also be used in virtual machines.

First, back up the c drive. After restarting, install Yu linmufeng 1.20final. The boot disk is c and the image disk is d. default. restart, select the winpe toolbox, format the c drive, reinstall Yulin 1.20, set the boot drive to c, and set the image disk to c. After the restart, ghost is backed up as winpe. gho. then Ubuntu is installed in the winpe status, and the network is disconnected. This is much faster. After two restarts, Ubuntu is installed. After the restart, the option is Ubuntu, if you select Windows as the restart mode, select the winpe toolbox to go to winpe and select the Ubuntu option.

In this way, winpe and Ubuntu are bound together. If two items except Ubuntu are deleted from the startup Item, others think that you have only installed pure Ubuntu, and you will not need to use it on your own, if you want to back up data, you can directly store the data in the pe. However, the backup or restoration in pe is slower than that in dos.

This is also true in virtual machines.

The minor bug of vmware is that it is difficult to press the f2 key to modify the startup sequence. Haha, maybe the computer is too fast now. therefore, you must modify and save the startup sequence before formatting the Virtual Machine (the formatting of the virtual machine is false, but the process is the same as the actual process). How can you change it to the first place on the disc? Load Any boot disc image with a restart menu. Press f2 after the virtual computer starts. If the boot fails, enter the disc and choose restart. Then press f2 to open the modification Startup Program, the advantage is that, if you do not stop switching alt + ctrl, You need to click the mouse inside and outside, and press restart. In addition, the new computer is fast, and it is hard to succeed for hundreds of times. note: You must modify and save the startup sequence before formatting the VM.
