Install VMwareTools in CentOS6.6

The following is a record of my installation steps:

Step 1: Open the VM and click VM in the VM toolbar-install VMware Tools (T )...

Then, the CentOS system automatically mounts VMWare Tools and enables them, as shown in:

Step 2: drag the VMware Tools-9.9.0-2304977.tar.gz to the desktop for convenience.

Step 3: Right-click the desktop and select "open in Terminal", for example:

Step 4, you need to unzip the VMware Tools-9.9.0-2304977.tar.gz, such as, execute the command tar-xzv-fVMware Tools-9.9.0-2304977.tar.gz, note that the file name can be filled with the TAB key.

After decompression, a folder is generated on the desktop, for example:

Step 5: go to the decompressed directory and run the command cd vmware-tools-distrib/, as shown in:

Step 6: execute the installation command, sudo./vmware-install.pl, such:

After that, you only need to press Enter all the way. of course, if you understand the function of each option, you can also customize it. However, it is generally the default value. when you see the character display, indicates that the installation is complete:
