Then, the CentOS system automatically mounts VMWare Tools and enables them, as shown in:
Step 2: drag the VMware Tools-9.9.0-2304977.tar.gz to the desktop for convenience.
Step 3: Right-click the desktop and select "open in Terminal", for example:
Step 4, you need to unzip the VMware Tools-9.9.0-2304977.tar.gz, such as, execute the command tar-xzv-fVMware Tools-9.9.0-2304977.tar.gz, note that the file name can be filled with the TAB key.
After decompression, a folder is generated on the desktop, for example:
