Solution to KPDF garbled Characters In Debian-Linux Release Technology-Debian information. See the following for details. Garbled characters in Linux are the most troublesome. Install xpdf, xpdf-chinese-simplified, and obtain xpdfrc and xpdfrc-chinese-simplified, in/etc/xpdf. Copy the two files to the Home Directory, change the name of xpdfrc to. xpdfrc, and add the content of xpdfrc-chinese-simplified to. xpdfrc. Modify the displayCIDFontTT font to the font you want. OK. Now we can display the Chinese characters of non-embedded PDF files. No problem yet.
Of course, it is not limited to DEBIAN.

Gsfonts must be installed in the system. Otherwise, the English font cannot be displayed. In addition, you do not need to install xpdf. You only need to install xpdf-chinese-simplified. Set up. xpdfrc at home only for future modification.
