1 log in as a domain administrator Clt-8 client to MODP installation CD, select App-v 5.0 SP1 Client installation until completed, and open App-V 5.1 client The program understands how to configure ( discovery cannot be configured or customized and can only be managed through Group Policy )
2 Log on to the DC Server install Microsoft Desktop Optimization Pack administrative Templates Group Policy template ( http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=35516), copy the installation directory to the C:\Windows\sysvol\ that is copied to the DC server after the installation is complete Domain\policies\ under
3 Open Active Directory Manager on the DC Server Create a new organizational unit named THINPC, and then move the Clt-8 into the THINPC OU .
4  in DC On the server, open the group path manager, and on the THINPC ou , create a app-v client Group Policy, edit app-v Client Group Policy, expand Computer Configuration, locate Configure Report Server address ( http://app-vserver.kkfloat.com:83
Set Publisher Address ( http://app-vserver.kkfloat.com:82 ), and then update the Group Policy on the THINPC ou
5 Log in Clt-8 client again to open the app - v 5.1 client program and observe the changes ( because there is no release program, so click Update or download does not respond)
