The client code contains more than 10 thousand lines, it is very small (the Windows version is only kb after compilation, but it has not been released), but the buffer is fast and the playback is smooth.
Although there are not many channels for the software, it is better than the small size of the software, and the buffer speed is very fast. At the same time, the author is submitting more video sources and live video sources. The author can fully listen to the user's opinions and continuously improve and add new features to make them more complete. This kind of communication is not available in Sopcast, so it has great potential for development.
Nslive currently only uses the command line format, but lianwei (author of gsopcast), an enthusiastic person, has proposed to develop the gui front-end. I have noticed that sysnotdown, the author of benliu, also mentioned that there are plans to develop similar BT-on-demand features. If you can communicate with nslive author andycl98 or develop together, this process will be greatly accelerated.
At present, nslive is still in version 0.1.0, and there are still many problems, mainly because the configuration is complicated, the integration is low, and it is inconvenient to use. Sometimes it is suddenly interrupted during video watching, not very stable, we look forward to further enhancement and improvement.
In general, there is one more network TV software in Linux, and one more choice. You can have one more choice for Sopcast, and expect nslive to become more perfect!
