　1. samba installation

(1). verify

Samba is a tool integrated with Linux. you can choose to install it during Linux installation. Run the following command to check whether samba is installed in the system:

[Root @ localhost root] # rpm-qa | grep samba

As shown below, samba has been installed:

Samba-swat-2.2.7a-7.9.0

Samba-2.2.7a-7.9.0

Redhat-config-samba-1.0.4-1

Samba-common-2.2.7a-7.9.0

Samba-client-2.2.7a-7.9.0

We can see that samba has been installed in Linux. ()
