Linux auto-loading driver module-general Linux technology-Linux programming and kernel information. The following is a detailed description. The RHEL4u5 kernel does not support the new Qlogic 4g fc memory card. Download the driver from the official website and compile it into a module.

1. Download and compile the driver. In this step, see the driver Readme.

2. Generate the initrd file:

Mkinitrd-v -- with = qla2xxx_conf -- with = qla2xxx -- with = qla2400 initrd. img 2.6.9-55.0.9.ELsmp

Qla2xxx_conf, qla2xxx, and qla2400 are compiled driver modules. 2.6.9-55.0.9.ELsmp is the kernel version.

3. Copy the generated initrd file to the/boot directory and modify grub. conf to load it (or directly overwrite the corresponding file)

4. restart the system and identify the disk array!
