Linux kernel module programming problems-General Linux technology-Linux programming and kernel information, the following is a detailed description. I use the ubuntu system.
If kernel module programming is involved, do you need to download the source code package and configure the compilation? you can use the make-kpkg command to generate the related. deb file and install it later.
For some reason, I directly downloaded the. deb file compiled by someone else and installed the new kernel to run normally.
Recently, I have seen a paragraph like this: "kernel source code that needs to be configured for module compilation in the 2.6 kernel". However, I have used the above method to install the new kernel. Naturally, no source code has been configured for this configuration, how can this problem be solved?
SP: I have tried the routine, make -- insmod -- run, all of them are normal, but there is a warning:
WARNING: Symbol version dump/usr/src/linux-headers-2.6.32-122-rtai/Module. symvers
Is missing; modules will have no dependencies and modversions.
I hope you will kindly advise ....
