Linux on the Apache concurrency number and server memory relationship calculation!

Linunx (this time for Ubuntu) apache!

The number of connections in theory is, of course, the larger the better, but within the capabilities of the server, this is related to the server's CPU, memory, bandwidth, and so on.

To view the current number of connections, you can use:

PS aux | grep httpd | Wc-l

Or:

Pgrep httpd|wc-l

Calculate the average number of httpd occupied memory:

PS aux|grep-v Grep|awk '/httpd/{sum+=$6;n++}; End{print sum/n} '

Theoretically server memory (unit g) *1024*1024*1024/2291000 = number of connections (that is, concurrency)

such as: A 8.5G memory server, installed Apache, minus 0.5G server support! Then the number of concurrency that Apache can support:

8*1024*1024*1024/2291000=3749.
