Liunx using yum to install PHP mysql GD (lamp server)

Description: I successfully installed the MySQL PHP and GD libraries in 84vps with Yum because the VPS itself comes with apahce2.2 so there is no Apache installation process

Tools/Materials

Linux system server, or VPS

System: Centos6.0 32 bits. Here I have tried 6.3 64 bit is also the same can.

Method/Step

2. First, install MySQL

   #yum-y install MySQL mysql-server mysql-devel

   Configure MySQL Boot service

   #chkconfig--add mysqld (add MySQL service to the service list)

   #chkconfig mysqld on (set up MySQL service with boot)

   #service mysqld Start (start MySQL service)

   
   

4. Second, install PHP

   #yum-y Install PHP

   #service httpd Restart (restart Apache)

   #vi/var/www/html/index.php

   Enter the following test code

   Phpinfo ();

   ?>

   Save exit, use IE to access http://youdomain.com/if the output of Phpinfo information indicates that your PHP installation was successful.

   Third, install the relevant components of PHP

   #yum Search PHP (Searching for PHP related components)

   #yum-y install php-mysql php-gd php-imap php-ldap php-odbc php-pear php-xml php-xmlrpc

   Restart Apache service when installation is complete

   #service httpd Restart

   When your lamp environment is set up, hehe use Yum installation is not very simple ah!

   Before I have seen other people's articles, there are after the installation of PHP components with phpize to recompile, in fact, it is not necessary, just restart Apache it will load all possible components.
