LoadRunner 11 cannot open Web tours process

Guess cause 1:1080 Port is occupied

Processing: DOS window input:netstat-ano | findstr "" to find 1080 corresponding PID, in Task Manager (CTRL+SHIFT+ESC) to find the corresponding PID process, end the process

Results: PID is 8416 and cannot be found in process

Cause: The port is consumed by the system program

Re-processing: Port changed to LoadRunner:

① Locate the LoadRunner installation directory, C:\Program files\hp\loadrunner\webtours, open the Xitami.cfg configuration file, find the portbase=1000 (default), modify it. [Note: Port 1080=portbase+80]

② Modify portbase=2000, save, the port becomes 2080, and then the service starts successfully.

③ Browser Address bar input: http://localhost:2080/WebTours/.

Guess cause 2: Incorrect installation path

Processing:

① Find C:\Program files\hp\loadrunner\webtours directory configuration file run.bat original path: SET path=c:\progra~1\hp\loadru~1\bin

CD c:\progra~1\hp\loadru~1\webtours start Xigui32.exe

② modified to Path: SET path=c:\progra~1\hp\loadru~1\bin;c:\strawberry\c\bin;c:\strawberry\perl\bin CD C:\PROGRA~1\HP\LOADRU~1 \webtours Start Xigui32.exe

③ Restart Service: Start->loadrunner->samples->web->start Web Server

④ refreshing the browser

Processing: Strawberry-perl-5.10.1.0.msi Reinstall, service restart,

Guess cause 4: Installation Error

Process: Reinstall LoadRunner 11

① Make sure the LoadRunner is installed in the default machine directory

② ensure that the HP Web Tours application uses a Java-installed browser

③ installation is finished ensure that the sample Web server is running. (Choose Start > Programs > HP loadrunner > Samples > Web > Start the Web server.)
④ Login to HP Web Tours.

Result: Login Successful
