Asp. NET provides a set of reliable, complete login controls to implement logins. These controls include the login, LoginView, LoginStatus, LoginName, PasswordRecovery, CreateUserWizard, and ChangePassword controls. Their functionality is described below.
Login control: Implements the login function and performs an action to authenticate the user.
LoginView control: Displays different prompt information depending on whether the user, including anonymous and logged-on users, is logged on.
Loginstatu control: Displays the status of a user's login, based on whether the user, including anonymous and logged-on users, is logged on. If the user is not logged in, a login link is displayed and a logout link is displayed if the user is already logged in.
LoginName control: Displays the user's login name if the user is logged on, otherwise no content is displayed.
CreateUserWizard controls: Implements the ability to create new users.
