Lync Server 2013 Mobile Feature Deployment

Lync 2013 Mobile Deployment essentials:

1, need to 8080 Lync Server front-end servers ,4443 through the public IP address of NAT map 443 published to the public network, otherwise, in the intranet environment,Lync client can not login. http://technet.microsoft.com/zh-CN/library/hh690011.aspx

2, need to add Lyncdiscover,rp(Lync Web service external FQDN name) corresponding to the DNS domain name Management of the public network NAT Public network IP address.

3. Mobile users will locate Lync service resources through the Autodiscover service during the login process . For Lync2013 Mobile environments, you will locate all WEB services for the Lync front end user pool , including MCX and UCWA -related URL;

4. The autodisvoer service has an internal URL and an external URL, and theinternal URL- related FQDN is lyncdiscoverinternal. <sipdomain>, the FQDN associated with the external URL is lyncdiscover.<sipdomain>;

5, the client first resolves the lyncdiscoverinternal.<sipdomain>a record, if the connection is unsuccessful, it will attempt to parse Lyncdiscover.<sipdomain >, and to connect;

6, when the user through the internal Autodiscover service URL or external autodiscover service URL, will get to the Autodiscover response document;

7. in the Autodiscover document,the URLs for MCX and UCWA are the external Web URLs that point to the Lync front-end server as the connection access point, as follows:

Update CU3 PatchesView pool Status

If the pool's status value is busy, wait 10 minutes, and then try to run the get-cspoolupgradereadinessstate command again. If the upgrade domain contains a Isreadyforupgrade value of true for the server you want to upgrade, you can upgrade the server.

Installing CU3 Patches

To run the Setup program, run the following command: LyncServerUpdateInstaller.exe, and then click Installupdates

Update Database

Run the following command:

Install-csdatabase-configureddatabases-sqlserverfqdn Lync-ee.contoso.com–verbose (Enterprise Edition) here is the front end server FQDN

Install-csdatabase-configureddatabases-sqlserverfqdn lync.contoso.com (Standard Edition)

Update the central Management database (CMS)

Run the following command
