Encrypted computers often store important files that need to be encrypted, and there are many ways to implement them. But if you want to encrypt all the files in a folder, the number is not enough, if the number is not a lot of people exhausted?
So today I'm going to tell you a good way to do this: Encrypt Windows 9x/2000 folders. By encrypting a folder, you can make all files in that folder protected. The effect is that when you double-click into the folder, the system prompts you to enter the password, the correct entry, the error automatically returned to the hard disk root directory-very easy to use!
1, into the folder you want to encrypt protection, the right mouse button in the margin, select the "Custom Folder ..." option;
2. Click Next to select Custom and select or edit the HTML template for this folder in the Secondary selection box, click Next (Figure 1);

3. Select "Standard" in the Select template type and select "Edit this template" option, click Next (Figure 2);

4, in the pop-up "folder" file to find 〈script language= "JavaScript", under its head to enter the following:
var pass = prompt ("Please enter password")
The "Please enter password" For this service is the system prompt
if (pass!= "123")
"123" for your own set of password
{window.location= "C:"}
5, Save the "folder" file, select complete, folder encryption is complete, you can test it (Figure 3)!

Because many of the steps just now are scripted programming for Windows, this method is validated for all Windows systems. If you need to remove the protection, just change the "folder" file back to the original as well!
Snow Bird tip: Because of the different versions of Windows, there are differences in nuances, such as in Windows Me, there is no 〈script language= "JavaScript" field in the "folder" file, and only 〈script〉, It also works behind it. The Folder Wizard is also different, please extrapolate.
