Manually import and export Mysql databases in Linux

MySQL database export

Log on to the vps as the root user and run the following command to export the vps.

#/usr/local/mysql/bin/mysqldump -u root -p phpcms > /home/backup/phpcms.sql

If you export all data, the statement is:

#/usr/local/mysql/bin/mysqldump -u root -p ?all-databases > /home/backup/all.sql

Where: root is the database user name

Phpcms is the name of the database to be exported.

/Home/backup/phpcms. SQL is the path for SQL export of database files.
MySQL database import

#/usr/local/mysql/bin/mysql -u root -p phpcms< /home/backup/phpcms.sql

Import all databases:

/usr/local/mysql/bin/mysql -u root -p < /home/backup/all.sql
