Perl supports generating documents from text blocks in your pod format. This pod text block can be embedded in CodeOr a separate file.
With the pod, It is very convenient to write a script without having to write additional documents.
We recommend that you read the perldoc perlpod content carefully. This document describes the syntax of the pod Markup Language in detail.
$ Perldoc perlpod
Try to ensure a good writing habit, such:
= Pod
= Head1 name
Water: Test-the great new water: test!
= Head1 version
Version 0.01:
= Cut
Both start and end should be empty. After you write your code file in the above form, you only need to use commands such as pod2html and pod2man to convert it into a document.
For example, if you save the secret code as the test.txt file, you can use the following command to convert it into an HTML document:
$ Pod2html-infile test.txt-OUTFILE text.html
