First of all, installing linux is intended for development in linux. gcc is of course necessary, but it is found that only cpp can be installed by default, and many standard libraries and header files are not installed. So you should go to apt-get instal libc-dev first, and you don't know what is going on. Go to gcc.gnu.org to download the latest version of the compressed package and install the latest gcc directly. As a result, configure cannot be used, but cc or gcc cannot be found. After trying n times, you can only reinstall debian, then, after logging on to the system for the first time, go to apt-get install gcc and find that the latest version is successfully installed. Sweat yourself again.

Next, I want to upload some files on my windows system to this system, so apt-get install samba can be installed smoothly. After the installation is complete, smbpasswd-I xxx, add a new user, and then/etc/init. d/samba restart. Use the shared folder in gnome to create a shared directory.

Next, upload some pdf files to the shared directory of debian. Double-click the shared directory. The evince automatically opens the pdf file. It is garbled. No way, google found xpdf, apt-get install xpdf. After loading the file, I found that the pdf file was still garbled, and then google found that my/usr/share/xpdf/directory was missing an xpdf-chinese-simplified directory, So I google a compressed package and downloaded it, decompress the package to/usr/share/xpdf. Copy the add-to-xpdfrc file in the compressed package to/etc/xpdf/xpdfrc, and modify the path according to the placement path of xpdf-chinese-simplified. After the modification is completed, open and the Chinese characters are displayed. However, some PDF files with special fonts are not fully displayed. Please try again later.

During this period, I went to adobe to get an rpm of acrobat reader 7.0 and found that debian could not directly identify the rpm format, so apt-get install alien and then alien-I xxx. rpm, which is unavailable after installation. Many people on the Internet say that too read is a waste of resources. It is slow and not open-source, so I do not like it either.
