You need to modify the character set all to UTF8 at work.

Here's how to modify it:

1. Open the installation directory, default to "C:\Program files\mysql\mysql Server 5.6",

2. Copy the "My-default.ini" in the current folder and rename it to "My.ini",

3. Add a "Default-character-set=utf8" under [mysqld] and [client],

4. Save the configuration file and restart MySQL.

Command window to log in again and check again:

We saw that all had been changed to UTF8.
