Live Preview
Web developers can continuously view the changes in HTML and CSS in the Java EE development stream without requiring a browser plugin or activating a debugging session. In addition, you can view these changes in multiple browsers, as well as simulate mobile devices. Maybe you're using JSP to create dynamic Web content, with the advent of Live preview, JSP will act as an experimental preview feature and be limited to static blocks. More improvements to live preview will be released in a later CI edition.
Remote WebSphere Connector
The CI version can connect to a remote WebSphere server, and you can even debug the code remotely, without having to install WebSphere locally.
More information about remote WebSphere can be found in this document:
https://www.genuitec.com/products/myeclipse/learning-center/websphere/remote-websphere-connectors/
Note: for myeclipse users who are still using the older version, Remote WebSphere supports up to MyEclipse 2014, although it is recommended that you update to MyEclipse 2016,remote WebSphere is more flexible and better used in the new version.
JavaScript Debugging:source Maps
The JavaScript debugger adds support for source Maps, and you can debug your source code according to its steps, even at run time, even if your code is modified. For example, you can place breakpoints and traverse. TS (TypeScript) or. Coffee (coffeescript) files.
The Source maps feature is automatic and does not need to be started specifically. The JavaScript debugger loads maps in your run-time scripts and uses them to refer to the source code. For more features on source maps, please refer to this document:
https://www.genuitec.com/tech/javascript-debugging-with-source-maps/
JavaScript Debugging:hot-swap
This feature is used when you want to modify JavaScript in debugging. Once the code has been modified and saved, the JavaScript debugger extracts these changes, and you can continue debugging without restarting the debug zone. Currently Hot-swap only supports Web application debugging, and node debugging is not supported for the time being.
Hibernate 5.1
Hibernate 5.1 can be used in standalone Java applications, Java EE applications, and even as a JPA 2.1 provider. MyEclipse has provided a new Hibernate function library, such as Hibernate search and so on.
CSS 3
CSS rules can now be easily set on the CSS Source preference page, which can also override the project layer. MyEclipse 2016 defaults to CSS 3 as the standard.
Some CSS 3 properties and keyword definitions are also updated to provide you with the latest code hints.
Other key fixes:
- CI 1 fixes this issue when the reports project created in MyEclipse CI 0 was not deployed properly.
- The workspace has updated the markup, but the mark on breadcrumb toolbar is not updated synchronously, and CI 1 fixes the problem.
- Fixed some key-binding issues in MyEclipse.
