Description: The command line client can log in, but there is an error logging in at the prompt cmd.

My Final Solution is to:

I went to check my My.ini configuration file first.

The new 5.7 configuration file is not in the installation directory, but in the Programdat/mysql file directory

After opening the file:

I modified the default port of 3306 to 8082 when I installed it.

When the cmd login is still the default port login, so will be error. Then you can specify the port when you log in,

-P must be capitalized.
