"It works." Forget the MySQL root password workaround 1, edit the MySQL profile: first stop the MySQL service, and then start editing the MySQL configuration file:
Vi/etc/my.cnf
Add the following line to the [mysqld] configuration segment:
Skip-grant-tables
2. Restart MySQL service/etc/init.d/mysqld restart
3. Set the new root password and then execute it at the command line:
Mysql-uroot-p MySQL
Directly enter the database without a password.
Now we execute the following statement to update the root password to 123456:
Update user set Password=password ("123456") where user= ' root ';
Flush privileges;
Then quit quit MySQL.
4. Restore the configuration file and restart the service and then modify the MySQL configuration file to remove the Skip-grant-tables line that you just added.
Restart the MySQL service again and the password has been modified.
