MySQL Remote connectivity issues

MySQL version: 5.1.73

With SQLyog tool remote connection MySQL error, error is as follows:

Reason: This is because there is no account created on MySQL to allow remote connections

You can view the user table in the MySQL library: select host,user from User;

Workaround:

First step: Grant all privileges on *. * to ' root ' @ ' 192.168.1.% ' identified by ' 123456 ' with GRANT option;

(% matches all IPs in this network segment), (* * indicates all tables for all databases)

Step two: Flush privileges;

Connect again to MySQL prompt success:

This is version 5.1.

5.6.32 this version, with SQLyog connection also error, this time did not execute SQL statement, just set up in sqlyog with SSH connection, the connection is successful
