MySQL forgot root password (reset root password)

1. Turn off the MySQL service

2. Start the MySQL service in a privilege free mode

Now start the MySQL service without login, can be connected by no password.

Use Mysql.exe-hlocalhost-uroot to connect up

3. Use the MySQL console to connect to MySQL and modify the root password in the Mysql.user table

Close the window that opens the MYSQLD service. Kill the Mysqld.exe process using Task Manager

Finally, you can start the MySQL service through the service.
