When to use single quotes, when not?

1. Create a table first

CREATE TABLE User (
Username varchar (255),
Age int,
Marry Boolean,
Birthday Date
);

Note that there must be no comma before the last parenthesis, otherwise an error "

2. Insert statement

Insert into user values (' Bluewelkin ', 20,1,1985-10-10); Failed.. Because the last date is not quoted

Insert into User (Username,age,marry) VALUES (' John Doe ', 20, 1); Success

Insert into User (Username,age,marry) VALUES (' Bluewelkin ', 20, 1); Success

Insert into user values (' Bluewelkin ', ' 20 ', ' 1 ', ' 1985-10-10 '); Success → compare with above, int numeric type, number can be quoted, can also not add
