Name attribute of the input tag in html, and name attribute of the input tag
<Form action = "form_action.asp" method = "get"> <p> Name: <input type = "text" name = "fullname"/> </p> <p> Email: <input type = "text" name = "email"/> </p> <input type = "submit" value = "Submit"/> </form>
Definition and usage
The name attribute specifies the name of the input element.
The name attribute is used to identify the form data submitted to the server, or reference the form data on the client using JavaScript.
Note: Only the form elements with the name attribute set can pass their values when submitting the form.
In the preceding example, a backend object has two attributes: fullname and email, which correspond to the name attribute in the two inputs.
In this way, we can pass the value to the backend through input.
Note: You must ensure that the value of the name attribute in the input object is consistent with that of the backend object before passing the value.
