Install node. js and NPM offline

1. Download the official installation package and copy it to the offline machine.

Official: https://nodejs.org/en/download/

2. Unzip the file:

Tar-xjf node-v8. 9. 4-linux-x64. Tar. XZ

2. Place it in the appropriate directory such as/opt/

sudo mvnode-v8. 9. 4-linux-x64/opt/

3. Create a file link to make NPM and node commands to system commands

sudo ln -s/opt/node-v8. 9. 4-linux-x64/bin/node/usr/local/bin/node

sudo ln -s/opt/node-v8. 9. 4-linux-x64/bin/npm/usr/local/bin/npm

4. Check if the installation is successful
