1.201 April-August v-net Latest features 1.1. Regional Virtual network officially launched
August 15, 2014: The regional Virtual network is officially launched. Configure the region virtual network to act on the entire region (e.g. North China, East China) and not just the affinity group. New services deployed to a regional virtual network can use any of the services provided by the zone (for example, internal load balancing, reserved IPs, instance-level public IPs).
Reserved IP address officially on-line
August 15, 2014: the reserved IP address is officially on-line. Windows Azure provides a single public IP address, called a virtual IP (VIP). The reserved IP address is a static public IP address for your deployment. Currently, reserved IP addresses can only be used for VIPs. 1.2. Instance level public IP preview on line
August 15, 2014: Instance level public IP Preview is on-line. New instance-level public IP assigns a public IP to your virtual machine so that it can be directly addressed without having to map the endpoints for direct access. After the assignment is complete, you will be able to perform operations such as running an FTP server in Windows Azure and monitor it directly using the virtual machine's IP address. The virtual machine will use the public IP address as the source IP address for all of its outgoing traffic. 1.3. Internal load balance Preview on-line
August 15, 2014: Internal load balancing (Internal load Balancing) Preview is on-line. Provide load balancing for your Windows Azure virtual machines with a private IP address. If your virtual machine is within a virtual network, the internal load balancing endpoint is accessed from the virtual network. If you are not inside a virtual network, you can access it using a cloud service. Internal load balancing is ideal for creating multi-tiered applications and load balancing the application tiers outside the right. The service is free for standard-level services for virtual machines. 2. Price Calculation 2.1. Reserved IP Address
