According to international media reports, the second Beta version of Echo3 was released. Echo3 is an open-source AJAX framework, it allows developers to develop both server-side Java applications and client-only Javascript applications. Applications are developed through component orientation and event-driven APIs, similar to interface elements used by desktop applications.
The server-side applications run in the Java Servlet Container. The transmission layer synchronizes with the client components to provide remote browsers to view server-based applications. The new Beta version has been released mainly in the first Beta version. The new features are as follows:
1. Improved layout: Some layout components, such as SplitPanes, can now automatically change the size area as needed. The percentage and relative position of the text size to support the entire framework. With these features, the user interface can change the font size and/or display pixel density as appropriate.
2. File improvement: all details of the Echo3 Development Guide, including CoreJS, can be viewed now.
3. Performance Improvement, cleanup, and testing: the Echo3 memory is stable, and even supports well in the old hardware and browser IE6). It has been widely developed since Beta1.
Echo3 Introduction
In the 3rd versions of Echo3 and Echo, Echo3 is not named Echo2.2, mainly because the client is completely rewritten and now has a "smart" client, you can even use the client independently without using the server.
