Oracle-linux "Removable hard disk" NTFS type under mount

Environment:

Oracle-linux 5.7

New removable hard drive (not used)

Mobile Hard disk space 3T

By default, the Linux system does not support NTFS partition mounts

1. Server:

A server and B server for a set of Oracle-rac, mobile hard disk inserted on a server;

2. Download the NTFS-3G package and install it on a server:

[[Email protected] ~] #tar-XVF ntfs-3g_ntfsprogs-2013.1.13.tgz

[Email protected] Ntfs-3g_ntfsprogs-2013.1.13]#./configure

[[email protected] ntfs-3g_ntfsprogs-2013.1.13] #mak && make install

3, because a, b server for Oracle-rac, storage configuration multipath, so under the system:

[[Email protected] ~] #fdisk-L-Unable to identify the removable hard drive

4. View a server multipath directory:

[[Email protected] mapper] #ls

Control Mpath0 mpath0p1 mpath0p2 mpath0p3 mpath1 volgroup00-logvol00 volgroup00-logvol01

To view the B-Server multipath directory:

[[Email protected] mapper] #ls

Control Mpath0 mpath0p1 mpath0p2 mpath0p3 volgroup00-logvol00 volgroup00-logvol01

Found that a server is more mpath1,mpath1 is a mobile hard drive device

5. Verify the following:

① in the a server Cd/dev directory compared to the B server, more SDC (each person's device name may be different OH)

② Execution DMESG | Tail

SD 8:0:0:0: [SDC] 732558336 4096-byte logical blocks: (3.00 tb/2.72 TiB)
SD 8:0:0:0: [SDC] assuming drive cache:write through
SD 8:0:0:0: [SDC] attached SCSI disk
Device-mapper:table:253:7: Adding target device dm-6 caused an alignment inconsistency:physical_block_size=4096, Logica l_block_size=4096, Alignment_offset=0, start=32256
Device-mapper:table:253:7: start=63 not aligned to H/W logical block size 4096 of dm-6

Tip the newly added device name is [SDC]

6. Viewing SDC and mpath1 through fdisk-l, finding the same information as a removable hard drive

7, after installing NTFS-3G installed, the input Mk+tab key will have MKNTFS command

8, [[email protected] ~] #mkntfs-F/dev/mapper/mpath1--formatted as NTFS type

9. Mount the NTFS partition:

[[Email protected] ~] #mdir/u01

[[Email protected] ~] #mount-T ntfs-3g/dev/mapper/mpath1/u01

10, OK, success.
