Oracle purchased Sun and led Java and MySQL to provide a promising future.

A recent developer study by Jaspersoft, an open-source business intelligence company, shows that the fate of Java and MySQL is good after Oracle acquired Sun.

Java and MySQL are deeply rooted in Modern Open-Source Software stacks. Fortunately, users' satisfaction with the Java software under ORACLE leadership is higher than that of Sun's Java software.

For many applications, there is no alternative to Java software. The scripting language is still difficult to convert to a problem solution. Despite the challenges faced by Java software, it can provide more extensive functions than any scripting language.

The report shows that users have no plans to abandon MySQL, and they believe MySQL will thrive under the leadership of oracle. MySQL is rooted in the proprietary software stack and open source software stack.

Highlights of the survey:

· More than 75% of respondents said they would improve or maintain the use of MySQL under the leadership of Oracle.

· More than 75% of respondents said that, under the leadership of Oracle, they predicted that the MySQL development speed would remain at the original level or increase somewhat.

· Almost all respondents said they would continue to use Java or improve Java usage in their organizations. This shows that Java is still a dynamic and popular programming language.

· Nearly 80% of respondents believe that Java Community Process will remain at the original level or improve somewhat under the leadership of Oracle.
