Once all of your work is done, you can add a webpart to your home page.
In order to make the page distribution reasonable, first modify the layout. Click on the pinion in the top right corner, edit page, go to edit mode, click on the Ribbon text layout, you can see that SharePoint has built some Layout.
Here you select layout with headers and three columns:
Then add the promote links to the area of the head:
Then add webpart to each list on both sides.
When you first add in, SharePoint uses the default view:
What if you don't want to show so many column?
Click Edit WebPart:
The option to edit WebPart is displayed to the right of the page:
Select a view inside the list view. It is important to note that the view selected here is not affected if it is modified in the list (SharePoint caches a view). Therefore, to follow the modified view display, you need to re-select here.
Appearance section, you can set the title and width height of a webpart. Chrometype can also be set to display the style, such as whether the title is displayed, whether the border is displayed, and so on.
So the department site is set up.
