Perl installation Module

Install perl5.8.8:
CD perl-5.8.8 & Rm-F config. Sh policy. Sh
& SH configure-dusethreads-de & make &&
Make Test & make install
MV/usr/bin/perl. Bak
Ln-S/usr/local/bin/perl/usr/bin/perl

After Perl is installed, many modules can be installed to enhance the performance of Perl. There are two ways to install the module.
First, download the source code package, compile and install it.

General installation steps,
Download
Decompress,
Enter the source directory
Perl makefile. pl
Make
Make install

Second, use Perl to automatically install required modules.
Shell> Perl-mcpan-e Shell
CPAN> install module_name
Perl automatically connects to the website and downloads the corresponding modules.

You must know the name of the module to be installed.

After you install Perl, an error occurs while running the program. check whether a module is missing.
