JMeter test Report Related parameter description

Using the Jmeter test tool to the Web system load test, the resulting response report, the data is difficult to understand, is now a specific description.

The following are the specific values in a specific load test, the test thread setting is: 200, wait Time (ramp-up): 0 seconds, the number of cycles is forever, another:

Thread groups-these components are used to specify the number of threads to run and the wait period. Each thread impersonates one user, while the wait period is used to specify when all threads are created. For example, the number of threads is 5, the wait time is 10 seconds, and the interval between each thread is created is 2 seconds. The number of loops defines the run time of the thread. With the scheduler, you can also set the start time of the run.

Samplers-These components are configurable requests for server HTTP, FTP, or LDAP requests. This tutorial focuses only on Web services requests.

Listeners-these components are used to request post-processing of data. For example, you can save data to a file or use a chart to illustrate the results. The JMeter chart does not offer many configuration options at this time, but it is extensible and can always add additional visualizations or data processing modules.

The resulting graphical reports and aggregation reports are as follows:

  First, graphical reports

The parameters at the bottom of the chart have the following meanings:

The number of samples is the total number of requests sent to the server.

The latest sample is the number representing the time, which is the time the server responds to the last request.

Throughput is the number of requests that the server processes per minute.

The average is the total elapsed time divided by the number of requests sent to the server.

The median is the number representing the time, and half of the server response time is below that value and the other half is above the value.

Deviations indicate the server response time change, the size of the discrete measure, or, in other words, the distribution of the data.

Ii. Aggregation of reports

The meaning of the chart is described below:

Label: Description is the request type, such as Http, ftp.

#Samples: The number of samples in the graph report, the total number of samples sent to the server.

Average: The average of the graph report, which is the total elapsed time divided by the number of requests sent to the server.

Median: The middle value in the graphical report, which is the number representing the time, half of the server response time is below that value and the other half is above the value.

90%line: means that the response time of the 90% request is smaller than the resulting value.

Min: Is the number representing the time, which is the shortest time the server responds.

Max: Is the number representing the time, which is the maximum time the server responds.

error%: The percentage of errors requested.

Throughput: This is the throughput in the graph report, which is the number of requests processed per unit of time for the server, and note that it is seconds or minutes.

Kb/sec: Is the number of bytes requested per second.

  Third, the use of analysis

During the testing process, the average response time is an important measure of our performance testing, but in the test, especially in the aggregation report, the 90%line, I refer to "LoadRunner did not tell you" one--descriptive statistics and performance analysis, I think 90% Line is equivalent to the 90% response time proposed by the author, which is valuable for our performance testing and analysis. 90% response time is said in the sending request, 90% of the user response time is shorter than the obtained value, at the same time, a system in the application, 90% of the user response time can reach this value, then for system performance analysis provides a good reference value.
