RHEL5.1 was unable to directly configure YUM using the CD, which seems to be enough after 5.4. However, the 5.1 configuration is also very simple. The procedure is as follows. Rpm-Uvhcreaterepo * createrepo/opt/disk/Server to/etc/yum. repos. d/directory, delete the original repo file, and create a new repo file vi/etc/yum. repos. d/51. repo [rhel5.1] name = Linux RHEL5.1 could not be used to directly configure YUM on the CD. This seems to be done after 5.4. However, the 5.1 configuration is also very simple. The procedure is as follows.
Rpm-Uvh createrepo *
Createrepo/opt/disk/Server
