When using VirtualBox in Ubuntu, sometimes "cannot open a new task for the Virtual Computer *" (* indicates the Virtual Machine name) may occur ). In retrospect, this happens after I perform the "Software Update" operation. The code is roughly like this:

Kernel driver not installed (rc =-1908)
The VirtualBox Linux kernel driver (vboxdrv) is either not loaded or there is a permission problem with/dev/vboxdrv. Re-setup the kernel module by executing
'/Etc/init. d/vboxdrv setup'
As root. Users of Ubuntu, Fedora or Mandriva shocould install the DKMS package first. This package keeps track of Linux kernel changes and recompiles the vboxdrv kernel module if necessary.

According to the above article

The system has been upgraded and kernel-headers has not been updated. I tried the above and solved the problem.

The following describes the handling process:

1. Open the terminal (shortcut: Ctrl + Alt + T) and enter the following code to execute the update:

Sudo apt-get update

Press enter to wait for the update to complete.

2. After the update is complete, enter the following code to perform the upgrade:

Sudo apt-get upgrade

Press enter. This step will ensure that you have all the latest files.

3. Run the following command:

Sudo apt-get install linux-headers-$ (uname-r)

After the execution is complete, run the virtual system on VirtualBox.
