The problem of slow Ubuntu startup is that FSC (KFileSystemCheck) checks all disk partitions by default. Solution: 1. sudogedit/etc/fstab2. find the following text: #/dev/sda1UUID = 6E50BE5450BE22AF/media/sda1ntfsdefaults, umask = 007, gid = 4601 -- & gt; 3. change the last 1
The problem with slow Ubuntu startup is that FSC (KFile System Check) checks all disk partitions by default.
Solution:
1. sudo gedit/etc/fstab
2. Find the following text: #/dev/sda1 UUID = 6E50BE5450BE22AF/media/sda1 ntfs ults, umask = 007, gid = 46 0 1 -->
3. Change the last 1 to 0 and the result is as follows #/dev/sda1 UUID = 6E50BE5450BE22AF/media/sda1 ntfs defaults, umask = 007, gid = 46 0 0
4. In other words, find all the Windows disk systems, such as NTFS, Vfat, and FAT32, and change the final number to 0.
5. Restart the disk.
2. Modify the Grub (cancel the boot screen) as follows:
1. Enter sudo gedit/boot/grub/menu. lst in Terminal.
2. Find the following line: kernel/boot/...... ro quiet splash
3. Change splash to nosplash. The result is as follows: kernel/boot/...... ro quiet nosplash
4. Save the disk and exit.
