The solution is simple. First, use the Evolution backup function to back up all emails and disable Evolution for security reasons.

Perform the following operations:

$ Sudo rm *. index

$ Sudo rm *. cmeta

After the command is executed, restart Evolution. Note: the start time may be long because you need to re-create the index. Please wait. After it is started, it can be deleted normally.
