The e-Mentor Network has described some of the properties of the DataTransfer object in previous articles, but it is not entirely. Some of the following methods and properties are properties and methods that are likely to be omitted.
AddElement (Element): Adds an element to a drag operation. Adding this element affects only the data (that is, the object that responds to the callback as a drag source) and does not affect the appearance of the page element when the drag operation occurs. It wasn't until this blog was written that only Firefox 3.5+ implemented the method.
cleardata (format): Clears data saved in a specific format. Browsers that implement this method are Firefox 3.5+, Safari 4+, ie and Safari 4+.
Setdragimge (element, x, y): Specifies an image that appears below the cursor when the drag occurs. The method receives three parameters: the HTML element to be displayed and the x and Y coordinates of the cursor in the image. Where the HTML element can be an image, or it can be another element. If the image is an image, the rendered element is displayed when the other element is displayed. Supported browsers are: Safari 4+, Chrome and Firefox 3.5+.
Types: The currently saved data type. This is an array-like collection that holds the data type in the form of a string such as "text". Supported browsers are: Chrome, Firefox 3.5+ and IE.
