Some of the scraps in PHP

About line breaks

PHP automatically deletes ?> a line break after its terminator at output. This feature is designed for embedding multiple snippets of PHP code in a single page or for PHP files that contain no material output, while at the same time creating some confusion. If you need to output a ?> newline after the PHP terminator, you can add a space after it, or add a newline to the last Echo/print statement.

About closing tags

If the file content is pure PHP code, it is best to remove the PHP end tag at the end of the file. This avoids having to accidentally add a space or line break after the PHP end tag, which causes PHP to start outputting these blanks, and there is no intention to output the script at this time.

About instruction Separators

The last line in a PHP code snippet can end without a semicolon.

<?php echo "This is a test" ?># 多行的情况<?phpecho 123 // 123?>
