Canonical plans to launch a new product next week, which is probably the company's first mobile Edge with Ubuntu system, according to speculation. At present, although there are not many messages about Edge, some people still find such a group of mobile phone pictures called Edge on the Ubuntu website.
According to people familiar with the matter, this mobile phone is not necessarily made by Canonical and may be OEM by other manufacturers. From the picture, this Edge adopts a very square shape, and the Ubuntu logo is printed on the back of the mobile phone. In this group of images, we also see the Samsung Galaxy Nexus running the Ubuntu system. Although Galaxy Nexus was originally an Android phone, Canonical chose Galaxy Nexus as a third-party testing model to test the performance of Ubuntu on mobile devices.
