The Windows to go action is the same as any other Windows Installer, except for some exceptions. These exceptions include:
The hibernate and sleep features are disabled by default. Hibernate and sleep are disabled to prevent accidental data corruption from Windows to go during roaming. You can re-enable these features by using Group Policy settings.
The internal disk is offline. To ensure that data is not accidentally exposed, the internal hard disk on the primary computer is offline when you start Windows to go. Just as you insert a Windows to go drive into a running system, the Windows to go drive does not appear in Windows Explorer.
The Trusted Platform Module (TPM) is not available. When encrypting with BitLocker drives, for security purposes, the pre-operating system startup password is used instead of the TPM, because the TPM is bound to a specific computer and the Windows to go drive moves between computers.
The Windows recovery environment is not available. Sometimes you need to restore your windows to go drive, at which point you should use a new image of Windows to mirror the drive.
The button reset is not available. When you run Windows to go, the computer cannot be reset to the manufacturer's standards, so this feature is not available.
