Brief introduction:
PowertutorIsByMichigan, USAUniversityInGoogleunder the guidance of the development . It is an application used to showcase the power consumption of major components or applications in Google smartphones. For example, CPU, network link, LCD display, GPS and so on. It allows developers to visually see the power consumption information of the application to optimize the design of the application. Therefore, we can use powertutor to monitor any application that generates power .
Example:
Let's familiarize ourselves with the use of the tool: (Tools: Click to download)
Diagram One:
Note: For us to show the screen after the launch of Powertutor, we click Start Profiler to begin monitoring;
Figure Two:
Note: Is the application interface after we start monitoring, when the Application Viewer button and the System Viewer button are available, we can visually see the Android system components such as CPU,LCD by clicking the Application Viewer , 3g,gps the power consumption information.
Figure Three:
Note: This figure depicts the power consumption chart of the main components of the Android system, which shows us the main power source for the CPU and LCD in the current system. Pie View and start view are another way to display information.
Of course, in addition to viewing the power consumption of the system components, we can also view the power consumption generated by the running processes in the current system by clicking Application View. such as
Figure Four:
Note: Shows us the power consumption generated by applications running in the current system, which, of course, contains the sum of power generated by the lcd,cpu,gps,3g, and we can also individually monitor an indicator, such as the power generated by the application on the CPU. such as
